Behind the title Bangladesh is a country of constant potential for agriculture. But we have not yet reached the desired boundary line in terms of sound planning, effective implementation and overall coordination. But the uplifting power of the golden soil of this delta of infinite Ashajaganiya has the power to inspire us, there is also evidence. But not much has happened so far. That's ... it's not like that ... it's like ... However, the possibility of this has not been exhausted at all, but in the belief of building a digital Bangladesh, it will move forward in a more excellent range, at a remarkable pace, and will face an unlimited future. In the turn of the day, we will be able to change by exploiting the potential of our backward agriculture. The number of agricultural households in the country is 1 crore 50 lakh 69 thousand which is 53.56 percent of the total population. These families ensure their own food supply on their own initiative as well as provide additional supply to the 13 million 6 thousand families living in the non-agricultural sector which is 46.43 percent of our total population. In short, the silent contributors of food and nutrition to the common people of this country are said to be immensely muscular in the sweat of their heads. That is why during the last Awami regime, the then Prime Minister and the present Prime Minister announced the issue of a house and a farm. The term of the government expires before it reaches the port of success. As usual, what was to happen was that the promising program taken by the previous government was ruined. This time again the Awami League got the responsibility of running the state and will re-launch the relevant unfinished dynamic project. We firmly believe that this outstandingly promising project should no longer be thrown into the dustbin. Dikbidik will spread the fragrance of Bengal's agriculture by transforming the fruitful stream of its immense potential into real success. Farm means the perfect combination of a range of everything related to agriculture. When every house in the country is converted into a farm, the south door of multifaceted possibilities will open. From here a house is the theme of a farm Why this project? Bengal agriculture and Bengal farmers are tied in the same thread. It can also be called one stop or single door service. Because the farmer who grows paddy, he grows vegetables in his backyard, he also cultivates fish in his pond. He again raised two goats, one cow and ten pigeons. Because these are essential in the daily necessities of life. There is no alternative. So the title bajimat if the farm based plan can finalize the plan based on the ongoing or prevailing reality of the farmer. So that a farmer-farmer can easily get all the necessities from his perimeter and can earn extra two paise by selling the surplus in the market. If every family in this country is prosperous and happy, then Bangladesh will be happy for sure. Homestead model The theme of one house one farm can be implemented in 4 models in the context of Bangladesh. The first is for landless and marginal farmers, the second is for small or small farmers, the third is for medium farmers and the fourth is for large farmers. Creating a plan model by categorizing in this way will facilitate smooth implementation and will also bring more success. In short, categorically, farmers will be able to move forward successfully with their status, range, resources, capital, capacity, opportunities and charisma of implementation. In this case, it can be said that where the marginal small farmer will cultivate pumpkin in the house rice, the big farmer will cultivate pumpkin in the field near Tepantar. On the other hand, when the landless marginal farmer cultivates pennywort in the yard, the medium or large farmer will cultivate a mixture of lettuce, parsley, capsicum, rambutan, indigenous and foreign crops in an unrestricted range. Small farmers will plant large orchards of apple-bau-Thai cool. In each model, vegetables, fruits, flowers, spices, herbs, wood, bahari, granules, oil, pulses and all the necessary crops will be made alive. In other words, the dream world has to be arranged, played and must be transformed into a model to be followed by ensuring 100% care management. Field crops Field fodder contributes the lion's share to our agro-based food supply. Therefore, more importance should be given to field crops. Land, location, weather, crop rotation, demand, market, climate change, above all, the field needs to be adapted to the needs of the farmers to compose field poems and map the cropping pattern. The cost will be less and the profit will be more. However, emphasis should be laid on profitable crop management by following modern quality seeds, timely sowing, application of balanced fertilizers with inorganic chemical fertilizers, irrigation management, integrated pest management, cutting, threshing, weeding, conservation and overall integrated agricultural management. Family garden Land in the backyard can become a regular source of nutrition for the family throughout the year under planned management. Farmers can be non-toxic daily suppliers. Farmers can live a healthy life by eating non-toxic vegetables of choice. Burmese peppers, Singnath brinjal, rice on the macha, pumpkin, rice, pumpkin, creeping bahani, marigolds in the colorful decoration of the home yard. Seasonal vegetables should be grown in small plots. The design can be analyzed with an example. Cauliflower in Plot No. 1, Tomatoes in Plot No. 2, Cabbage in Plot No. 3, Eggplant in Plot No. 4, Olkopi in plot no Turnip in plot no. Management needs to be ensured by adopting proper production strategies. But the mystery and strategy is elsewhere. On either side of each plot- Plot No. 1
Medicinal garden There is disease because there is life. If you want to get happiness, you have to get rid of the disease. And the disease must be eliminated with medicine. We try to cure the disease in various ways including allopathic, homeopathic, herbal. But it must be humbly acknowledged that our inexhaustible supply of medicinal plants is still rich in history and tradition to cure diseases in our daily lives. Neem, Tulsi, Basak, Akand, Haritaki, Bahera, Amalki of our homestead still do not work as a friend in danger as a medicine in our disease? We do not know the names of these invaluable pesticides rich in thousands of traditions, we do not even know them completely. We will benefit if we use these eternal resources to meet the temporary responsibilities of life. So with the establishment of a planned modern family medicine garden, many immediate problems of the family can be solved effortlessly. Fish Fish is an easy source of our meat and other flavors. But now, as before, you can't eat fish as you want. Because production is low, supply is low, price is high. But a home can be secured through a farm program. However, in this case, it is possible to benefit jointly by cultivating fish in a planned modern way in a pond owned by Ajmali or jointly owned. If for some reason this work is not possible in joint ownership, then this work can be done in a different way using the new technology cage fish farming method. Is that just so? Fish can be produced in the vicinity of the house to meet the needs of the family by adopting the method of pond / hole / cistern / tank. Moreover, fish farming in floodplains, fish farming in fallow reservoirs, fish in every pond of every household can be brought under the planned fish farming program. Animals and Birds There is no house in this country where 2/4 of poultry, goats, sheep, cows and buffaloes are not reared. But in almost all cases modern techniques have never been adopted. That's why we don't get a return. In this case, by adopting modern scientific techniques, goats / sheep / cows / buffaloes can be reared for layers, broilers, milk, meat in a planned way. However, breed selection, housing, food, medicine, nutrition, rearing, caring marketing must be handled perfectly on the farm house. According to the needs and capacity of the family, there should be facilities for raising eggs, meat, chickens, ducks, pigeons, goats, cows and sheep. Government responsibilities and obligations I would like to remind that a house and a farm project implemented by the Awami government in the last term have been ruined due to the change of the party government. This is sure to happen again. But a humble request, Honorable Country Director, Hon'ble Minister, Hon'ble Administrator, let the activities start well, get stability and survive in the far frontiers. In the future, no one should get a chance to despise or disrespect it by calling it an Awami program. For that, it is necessary to take measures to reach the desired goal by conducting the activities smoothly under a project at the state level. If the program is conducted by a reputable wise interested agronomist and an approved team of his choice, the profit will be higher and more returns will be obtained. Another thing is that in the next 5 years, there should be no plan to bring 100% of the families in Bengal under one house one farm program. Rather, every village, regardless of party affiliation, should choose a home where all the planned technology will be valued, inspiring as a milestone for future examples. In short, when the model is successful, the status quo will automatically take shape. A successful house will become thousands of houses and will spread all over Bengal effortlessly. Coordination and collaboration However, the farmers of our country do all the segments of the larger agriculture in one go. But at the state level, to get this information technology, one has to contact various departmental agencies. Success is hampered, speed is reduced. For this, under the leadership of the Department of Agricultural Extension, necessary responsibilities have to be given to all the concerned departments including Fisheries, Livestock, Forest, Nutrition, Environment. These activities must be implemented with utmost importance and value until they are effective and fruitful. It should be kept in mind that if this activity can be done properly, such costs in agricultural management will be reduced, profit will be increased and above all, environmentally friendly agricultural activities will bring a new dimension in the pace of development of the country and the nation. In this regard, there will be a committee in every village, union, upazila, district, region and national Ekhaeba (one house, one farm). The committee will conduct all the activities following the policy regulations. Each committee will be led by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock and other related reform representatives will be involved in the work. For their accountability, there will be a 3 or 4 tier monitoring cell / committee who will supervise from time to time and take necessary measures including giving necessary advice. Farm-based market system No production will work. The farmer will not get relief unless the product produced by the farmer is properly marketed and the farmer gets a fair price. For this, farmer friendly farmer controlled market system has to be developed. The NCDP-run farmer-controlled market system has already been piloted. And activities are going on successfully in some areas. This model market system has to be spread all over Bangladesh. The farmer must remember very well if the price of his produce is reasonable
